Museum

We went to the Delaware Children's Museum with a few friends from playgroup! The kids had a great time, and consequently so did the mom's! They have some really neat learning areas and things for toddler's to do, as well as older kids. Brayden loved playing in the tool section and "fixing" the car! He also loved the fishing area and water play, but I had to observe/help with that a little more and was not able to get any pictures. We are actually considering purchasing a yearly membership. I think that we will be going back several times this summer during those unbearable hot days and into the winter when it gets colder.

This is the "kitchen helper" that Dan built for Brayden. It still needs to be sanded and painted, but Brayden is loving just being up at the counter level with me while I cook and get things ready! Tomorrow we will try out first actually baking experience...blueberry muffins! Stay tuned for the  results...

Brayden - 22 Months

Better late, than never. Brayden turned 22 months a few weeks ago. All is well here and our summer is off to a great start! Brayden is continuing to talk more and more everyday and we are enjoying our time together and watching him learn and grow!

These next two are the best "posed" shots that we get these days! Brayden was saying "cheese" in the second picture, but looking down. Go figure! ;)

Father's Day 2012

We had a wonderful Father's Day weekend! On Saturday we spent the morning at the race track with Dan so that he could get some riding in. My parents came too. It was the first time that Brayden has gone to see his Dad ride. He was a little tentative at first, but really seemed to enjoy it and kept saying "Daddy high" when Dan would go over a jump.

Then Saturday evening we then headed out to Iron Hill for an early dinner and to the Blue Rocks Game with my parents and brother! Brayden did not last too long in the seats at the baseball game, but we still had a blast walking around, eating ice cream, and watching some of the game in the new seats we found!

Sunday, we headed to church and then had a relaxing afternoon at home and a few friends (Lauren and Cooksey) over to BBQ for dinner! Another great evening to end out Father's Day weekend! :)

Milburn Orchard

This past week, we headed up to Milburn Orchard for the first time this summer! They grow many of their own fruits and vegetables, have a wide array of things for the kids to play on, and even have some animals that you can feed. Brayden had a blast feeding the animals, running around, and playing! We will definitely be going back (hopefully several times) this summer!
