Decorating for Christmas!

Yes, the time has arrived! It may seem a little early, but I always love to decorate for Christmas over Thanksgiving weekend! So, we got out the Christmas tree and decorations this weekend and went to work! Brayden loved putting up the Christmas tree with Daddy and looking through all of our decorations with Mommy! We even got out his Christmas books and Christmas PJ's (thanks cousin Lori and Shari)! I had wrapped two of the Clifford's Christmas books and his Christmas PJ's as a small gift (and new tradition) for him to open while we decorated! Brayden loved the Clifford's Christmas books and I think I read it close to six times in a row before convincing him we should pick out another book! ;)

Getting ready to go decorate!

Thanksgiving 2012

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving morning my mom (Nana) came over to help get some things decorated in Baby Sister's room. Aside from that, we hung around the house, played outside, and got ready to head to Dan's parent's (MomMom and PopPop) house for the afternoon and evening. It was a gorgeous fall day and Brayden even learned how to ride his tricycle in the morning before we left!! :) He still has not completely mastered the steering, but he can peddle on his own now! We were all so proud of him!

It has also been so fun to teach Brayden about the Thanksgiving holiday and tradition this year! He certainly tries to take it all in and was learning about being thankful for all the blessings and small things in life. I love watching him learn! Next up...Christmas! We are really looking forward to decorating and starting to teach Brayden about the meaning of Christmas as well!

Thankful Boy!

Hurricane Sandy

I am not sure where the past few weeks have gone! I feel like we have just been on-the-go. First, we traveled north to visit friends in Connecticut at the end of October, then hurricane Sandy hit, then Dan traveled back up north for a bachelor party in Rhode Island, and then I traveled out west to Las Vegas for my cousins wedding. Plus the normal day-to-day stuff, getting ready for the holidays, getting ready for our little baby girl that we can't wait to meet, and oh yeah, that thing called work! Phew! I am tired just thinking about it all. Anyway, I am back to blogging and catching up on some photos from the past few weeks!!

Notice the "ouch" on Brayden's nose...fell off of the work bench in the shed! :(

Halloween 2012

So, Halloween is probably my least favorite holiday, but Brayden seemed to enjoy it this year. He had a great time tricking-or-treating at a few of our neighbor's houses and an even better timing handing out candy at our house! Brayden is a very generous candy giver too!!

Admiring the candy to give out.

Waiting...

Getting ready to go.

Look at all the candy I got!
