Full Term

With the excitement of Christmas and New Year's behind us, we are now preparing for the arrival of our baby girl!! We are very anxious to meet her and start our New Year as a family of four! I am officially 39 weeks tomorrow, so she could be here any day now! :)  I am planning on getting a pedicure this Saturday and Dan and I have a date night planned, so any time after that would be great if I have my say, hahaha!!

Heading out to Chart House for dinner in Philadelphia

First Snow of the Winter

Our first snow of the season...it was not much, but enough to get outside and have a blast playing! Although cold, Brayden and Daddy bundled up and had a lot of fun running around and making their own hill to sled down on the slide! :) Bailey even joined in the fun for a little too!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

On Christmas Eve, we headed to church and then to the DiNuzzo's (long time family friends and my parent's old neighbors) house for dinner and the evening! We were not too sure how the evening would go since Brayden decided to randomly not nap that day, but he did GREAT and was such a trooper! He even stayed up till 10:30 pm without a fuss! He was enjoying all the excitement of the evening!

On Christmas morning, Nana and Pa and Uncle B came over. We had a delicious breakfast at home, opened gifts, played with our new toys, and relaxed all day! Brayden took a very long afternoon nap (so did Mommy) and then we got ready to eat dinner, which included an amazing deep fried turkey compliments of Daddy!

A few days after Christmas, we got to celebrate again when we headed down to MomMom and PopPop's for the afternoon! We had another great afternoon at their house opening gifts, playing with new toys, and eating dinner!

Cookies for Santa

We decided to put out cookies and milk for Santa on the 23rd this year. On Christmas Eve, we always go to church and then the DiNuzzo's (long time family friends) for the evening, so it is typically a very late night! Luckily, Brayden does not really have a concept of time yet. He loved putting out the cookies and milk for Santa though and had a blast eating them too! ;)

Cookies, Family, and Friends

The week before Christmas we had lots of Christmas activities planned. These included, heading over to Cooper's house to make sugar cookies, watch Elf on the Shelf, and eat lunch!

We also enjoyed a wonderful, but wayyyyy too quick visit from my Grandmother (aka GG)! It was so nice to see her and visit, so we just tried to make the most of the time we had together!!

Brayden also experienced his first candy cane thanks to the neighborhood Santa which comes by on a truck escorted by policemen! Of course Brayden thought that this was very cool!
