Vegetable Garden

Brayden loves to help Dan with projects around the house and outside, or really doing anything that involves hanging out with Daddy! Their most recent project has been cleaning up and preparing our vegetable garden.  They also planted a few seeds inside and Brayden enjoys checking on them every day with Dan to see if anything is growing yet!

And after working in that muddy mess, a bath was a must!

Boomers

This past Sunday after church we headed to an indoor activity center called Boomers for a day of fun with the family. Nana, Pa, and Uncle B joined us too so that we could celebrate Uncle B's birthday as well! Brayden had a blast playing, running, jumping, climbing, and sliding!!

However, Brooklyn slept the WHOLE time!

Brooklyn Louise - 9 weeks old

Brayden Dillon - 2.5 years old

Here are just a few random pictures of what Brayden has been up to lately. He loves hanging out with and playing with Bailey. The other day I walked into the family room and found Brayden sitting next to Bailey talking to him and telling him that he loved him! Brayden is such a sweet and loving boy!

Brayden also enjoyed making cakes pops with Nana during one of her recent visits.

As well as a lunch date with Nana at the mall while Mommy had to go feed Brooklyn. Nana treated Brayden to a Chick-fil-a kids meal, which included applesauce, chicken nuggets, and milk. Brayden loved it and ate almost every bite! Then Nana also treated Brayden to TCBY and boy did he gobble that up! I think Mommy and Nana maybe got a few small bites! 

Siblings

So Brayden is in a phase where he loves to hold and talk to his sister. I am not sure what all he is telling her at times, but it is pretty sweet. You can just tell that Brooklyn loves her brother too by the way she stares at and admires him. I know that they will have their moments, but I hope and pray that in the end they will always have a close bond and relationship!

Park Day

Last week we had a few days of beautiful weather, so we ventured out to the park. Brayden had a great time and enjoyed the fresh air, while Brooklyn slept like a rock! Ahhh, I can't wait for more spring days...hopefully sooner rather than later!

Brooklyn Louise - Two Months

Ms. Brooklyn Louise was two months on March 6th! We recently had her two month check up and she is doing great! She weighed 12 lbs 14 oz (90th percentile) and was 23 inches long (70th percentile). Growing and changing overnight! 

Brooklyn is starting to stay awake a little more now and is just the happiest baby girl. She loves to smile all the time and it melts my heart to see her smile and react to the sounds of our voices. We got out the bumbo chair this week and Brooklyn really seems to like the new view sitting up. Plus Brayden loves to talk to Brooklyn while she is sitting up in the bumbo chair (or bum bum chair as he calls it). Brooklyn is also starting to enjoy her playmat and the monkey toys on her bouncy chair, and making new noises and sounds each day. Brooklyn is a wonderful napper and sleeper at this point. We still have her swaddled and in her crib. Not sure when we will try to wean her of the swaddle.... Don't want to mess with a good thing!
