St. Patty's Day - 2014

Brayden was really into celebrating St.Patty's Day this year, so we went all out with St.Patty's themed food for the day... 

First up, Lucky Charms and green milk for breakfast. 

Next, shamrock shaped peanut butter and jelly and spinach muffins for lunch.

Then, chicken quesadilla's with spinach tortillas.

Lastly, a Shamrock Shake (yes from McDonald's and oh so delicious)!

14 Months Old - Brooklyn Louise

Brooklyn Louise, you have certainly blessed our lives over the past 14 months. 

You are Mama's sweet girl, your brother's best friend, and absolutely treasured by your father.

Your laughter, smiles, and pure joy enrich our lives daily!

Waiting on Spring

Over here at the Cooper residence, we are waiting for the spring weather to arrive....

And trying to be oh so patient...

These small glimpses of spring leave us longing for the warm weather to stay! 

Random Memories

Some random (but very treasured) memories from the past few weeks include:

Brayden's continued love for building and playing with lego sets! Thank goodness his grandparents kept all of his Dad's, Uncle Chris's, and Uncle B's legos!

Brooklyn's love for playing with her "little people" and doll house.

Also, Brooklyn's love for her pink car and gathering all of her toys in it to push around!

And trying out some Ritz crackers and spaghetti for the first time. Of course she really enjoyed them both, who doesn't??!!

Day in the life of Brooklyn

Little Miss, you love to climb. You also love to pull "stuff" out of bins, drawers, the refrigerator, and really anything you can find. It is funny to watch, but you quickly make a big mess ;)

You also love to pet Bailey dog (although it is KO in this picture). 

You play very well and love to try and communicate with us. You also love to watch and follow your brother around! 

And just for fun, Mommy pulled your hair back in a ponytail for the first time ;)

Day in the life of Brayden

This sweet handsome boy is 3.5 years old! Brayden, you are such a caring, kind, smart, loveable, polite, young gentleman, who also loves to run around, be silly, and rough house with Daddy!!

You have recently started getting into legos and enjoy putting together small piece lego sets with Daddy! You have really been using your imagination to play with them too. It is wonderful.

You still play with your Hess trucks from time to time too, and like anything that has an on/off switch or controls. You love to figure out how things work! :)

You are a great helper for Mommy too.

And you have been looking forward to getting your highlights magazines. You enjoy doing the hidden puzzles and reading the stories. 

Valentines Day - 2014

In the morning, Daddy surprised Brayden with a very special treat at breakfast time...

Then Brayden got to open his gift (a gardening tool set) and Brooklyn's gift (a toy remote)...

Next, Brayden was off to preschool for their Valentine's Day party...

And I got to snuggle and play with this sweet little lady...

When Brayden got home from preschool, the kids took naps and then we played at home in the afternoon until Daddy finished work. Then Daddy (and Brayden) made us a delicious dinner for us. It was a perfect day spent with our little Valentines!

13 Months Old - Brooklyn Louise

Our baby and teddy lover is 13 months old (well on Feb 6th. yes I am a whole month late posting this)! During this past month, you started "talking" more and more and are trying so hard to communicate with us. You call Brayden "bubu", Bailey "baba", and your babies and teddies "bebe". You can also say mama, dada, nana, pa, poppop, ball, "ha" for hat, "hehe" for help and "dede" when you are reaching for something you want.

This month you have been taking a few steps, but I definitely would not say that you are walking. You cruise between furniture really well though and love to push chairs and toys around to help you walk. You also love to climb on anything you can find, especially chairs and the couch.

You love to play, smile, laugh, snuggle, and be held. You are also a very determined little girl too that knows exactly what you want and when you want it! :)

And More Snow...

So I think a certain preschooler is over playing in the snow for the winter. Well unless Daddy goes outside and builds jumps for the sled and plays tackle with him ;) But we are still trying to enjoy the snow by bringing it inside to us.

First up was snow ice cream...

Then making snow "cookies" using all of Mommy's cookie cutters.

We have also been enjoying lots of snuggles this winter, as we patiently wait for warmer weather to arrive.

And Brooklyn's favorite activity right now....playing with babies and stuffed animals!

And Brayden loves to pretend that he has meetings. "Just like Daddy",  he says.
