Daddy and Brooklyn

Daddy and his baby girl. No words need.

This says it ALL.

Mother's Day 2014

I love Mother's Day! Not because it is suppose to be a day about me, but because it is a day filled with lots of love, lots of laugh, and lots of memories with family!

This smile always brightens my day.

16 Months - Brooklyn Louise

This 16 month toddler is just all over the place these days - walking, running, climbing, swinging, sliding, playing. Whatever it takes to keep up with her big brother, count her in! :) Aside from getting much faster at walking, I would have to say that Brooklyn's biggest milestone this month was her talking! She is attempting to say more and more words everyday and does a pretty good job at communicating what she wants and needs. Brooklyn absolutely adores her brother and loves to imitate him! He finds it funny (at least for now) and I love to listen to them! :)

Brayden - May 2014

Some great memories from this spring with Brayden...

Flying kites...

Drinking tomato soup...

Relaxing with KO at Nana and Pa's...

And new haircuts...

Dad and Kid Camping Weekend

At the beginning of May, Dan and Brayden went on the Dad and Kids camping trip that our church hosts every year. This was the first year that Dan and Brayden have attended and they had a great time hiking, riding bikes, and playing. I think the highlight of Brayden's camping trip was hiking to get a milkshake with Daddy! :)

Brooklyn - Learning Quick

I give Brayden a lot of the credit for the skills that Brooklyn is learning lately. She watches her brother very closely and loves to follow in his footsteps! :)

Learning to eat with a spoon.

Loves Brayden's tricycle, but a little too small still.

Ready for the day.

Gardening.

Playing in the sandbox.

Crayons.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday is always a busy day for us, but a very blessed day as well! Dan and I try our very best to teach our children about the true meaning of each holiday that we celebrate. We did do a small Easter basket for the kids and a little Easter egg hunt, but that was not at the center of our holiday. Jesus was. Brayden had several people ask him if the Easter bunny brought him some treats for Easter, and he just starred at them with this blank look on his face. I don't think he even knows who the Easter bunny is ;)

Brayden riding the tractor with Great PopPop. His favorite memory from the day!!!!

Mommy and her little loves. God's blessings indeed!

Please Touch Museum

At the beginning of April, Dan took off of work one Friday and we decided to take the kids to the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. We had never been before, but had heard wonderful things about it! It is an interactive museum for children, with different exhibits and play areas for them to explore. Some of the exhibits included - water play, a hospital, a grocery store, a McDonalds, a shoe store, a construction site, a garden, a Rita's water ice stand, a Septa bus, a mechanic station, and an outer space exhibit. Both kids had a blast!!!

15 Months Old - Brooklyn Louise

Our biggest milestone, which happened the week before she turned 15 months, was that Brooklyn started walking!! She is still a bit unsteady, but we now have a walking toddler! Happy 15 months Brooklyn Louise!

All dressed up

Well, I am finally getting around to catching up on some blog posts! Here are a few pictures of Brooklyn all dressed up one day after church toward the end of March. :)

Brooklyn really enjoys looking at and pointing to pictures in books....especially if there are animals or babies to look at.

Just a few snuggles before bed! It never gets old seeing these two interact together!
