Just Brayden

Last week was fire safety week at Brayden's preschool and this week the Fire Company is coming to educate the children too. So this weekend, Brayden was so excited to try on his fire fighter gear!

At the beginning of October, Brayden's preschool had a field trip to Milburn Orchard. Each child needed a chaperon and of course I could not wait to go with Brayden! (Thank you Daddy and Pa for taking care of Brooklyn).

House Update

As of October 11th, the foundation for our new house has been poured!

This is an exciting...

stressful...

fun...

nerve wracking...

and faith building time...

But we are so anxious to move and get settled in our new home! :)

Just Like Bubba

Brooklyn absolutely adores her Bubba and (according to Brayden) is the only one that is allowed to call him "Bubba". I hope that Brooklyn's love for her brother never changes!!!

Brooklyn - 21 Months

At the beginning of October, Brooklyn was 21 months! Only three more months till she is two....I absolutely can not believe that!

Brooklyn loves to play "mommy", pretend with her little people and legos, play dress up, dance and listen to music, do crafts, read books, run, play outside, ride bikes, go for walks, go to the park, and play with her brother.

This little miss makes us smile each and every day!!!

Visiting GG

At the end of September, we traveled down to Virginia to visit GG and see her new apartment! We could not wait to see GG and had a wonderful time visiting with her! If only we could have visited longer.

Toward the end of September, my Aunt Sue and Uncle Jer made the trip east from Las Vegas to sight see and visit family. We were lucky enough to see them one afternoon and had a great visit! It was also the Eagles/Redskin game, which always provides added excitement.

Park and Bike Rides

We are trying to enjoy as many of the warm fall days that we have left by playing outside!! Brayden has so much fun climbing this "spider web" at Nichol Park and is always so proud of himself! We also love to go on bikes rides as often as we can too!

Milburn Orchard with Brooklyn

After dropping Brayden off at preschool one Friday morning, Brooklyn and I met up with Zach and Rose Willard at Milburn Orchard. It was a beautiful morning and the "toddlers" had a great time playing and picking out pumpkins!

I just love this picture from Brayden's first week of four-year old preschool. This picture was taken outside of the church one morning before school. This picture also supports my previous post (Brooklyn's 20 month post) that Brooklyn likes to be just like her big brother!!! :)

Brooklyn - 20 Months

At the beginning of September (the 6th), Brooklyn was 20 months old. And was too busy playing to stop and smile for pictures. Brooklyn understands pretty much everything we tell her and ask her to do these days. She is also talking more and more everyday! Brooklyn loves to do whatever her big brother is doing and will often copy him. She even copies him when we are eating. If Brayden is having cereal for breakfast, then so is Brooklyn. If Brayden is drinking his milk, then so is Brooklyn. If Brayden eats a bite of strawberry, then so does Brooklyn. It is really cute to watch...at least from our perspective ;)
