Blue Rocks Easter Egg Hunt

On Easter weekend, we decided to give the Blue Rock's Easter Egg Hunt a try for the first time this year. Although it was free, I had to call at the beginning of March to sign Brayden up and we were really looking forward to seeing how he like it. Thankfully it turned out to be a beautiful day. So, we got the kids up, fed, dressed, and loaded in the car to head up to the Blue Rock's stadium in Wilmington. Nana and Pa met us up there to share in the fun. There were a lot of kids participating in the Easter egg hunt, but I was very impressed with how organized the whole event was! Brayden had a blast and we will definitely be signing him (and hopefully Brooklyn) up again next year!

As an added bonus, the City of Wilmington Fire Department was utilizing part of the parking lot to train new fire fighters. So when they were done training, Brayden got to meet the firemen and play in the truck. He was in awe the whole time and the firemen (and women) were extremely nice!

Then we decided to grab lunch at Timothy's on the Wilmington Riverfront! Both kids did great, and the Easter bunny even made a special visit to come see Brayden and bring him a treat!

And to top off this gorgeous fun-filled morning, when we walked back to the Blue Rock's stadium parking lot to head home for naps, one of the worker's gave Brayden a baseball! To say that Brayden was on cloud nine after our morning is an understatement!
