Vegas - Flights and Such

On July 19th we flew out west for a week in Las Vegas. My Grandmother (my dad's mom) turned 90 in June and Uncle B (my brother) moved out there last summer, so we wanted to get out there this summer to visit. Uncle B flew east for Christmas this past year, but that was the last time that we had seen him, so we all couldn't wait to get out there. The majority of my dad's family also lives out in Las Vegas, so we always jump at the opportunity to get out to see them all!

Pre-flight family selfie.

Trying to keep the kids entertained.

This was the flight home, but I loved this peaceful picture. Brooklyn napped about 1.5 hours on the flight to Vegas and 2 hours on the flight home. All in all both kids did great!!!

Brayden loved all the controls for the pool and spa at the house we were renting in Las Vegas. So Daddy drew him a picture of them so that he could pretend to operate them himself! Call it jet lag, call it the busy days, call it the fun in the sun...whatever it may be, Brayden napped for several hours every day that we were in Las Vegas and didn't even fight bedtime either.

Fun at the toy store!

Lunch at McDonalds after a fun family morning at the splash park

And just for laughs and memories...here is an family picture from the night before we left for our trip to Las Vegas. Testing out our airport transportation systems ;)
