Sunday we spent the day at Dan's Grandparents house surrounded by good company and food. It was so nice to relax outside and just hang out with everyone. Baby Cooper also got his first Easter gifts, which included an adorable blue blanket (and his first blanket too) from Dan's mom, as well as two Phillies onesies! Dan's grandmother also gave him a cute little blue piggy bank...time to start saving!!! Thank You!
We are also looking forward to the warm weather that is being predicated in the 10-day forecast. According to the weather channel the next 10 days are supposed to be sunny and in the upper 70's. Dan is excited because he is looking forward to riding his road bike. Me on the other hand, I am excited because I can wear flip flops!!! I am very tired of bending over to put my shoes on and constantly pulling up my pants, haha. I also think that I am going to have to make the leap this weekend and switch to maternity pants. Thus far I have been still wearing my regular pants and using rubber bands to button them. However, that is getting very uncomfortable sitting at work all day. I guess making it to 22 weeks without wearing maternity clothes is not too bad.
Also, as promised (mom), I have included a picture of my two favorite boys (Dan and Bailey)!! Soon it will be my three favorite boys!!!
Man's or Bailey's (our awesome puggle puppy) best friend. We are anxious to see how Bailey will adjust to the new addition to our family, but have no doubt that he will do just fine..he is a great dog!!
Dad's Team - Mommy Approved - Athletic Gear. I have a feeling that this outfit will get worn a lot...especially with the baby being born during baseball season and this outfit looking very similiar to Phillies Gear. We all know how big of a Phillies fan Dan is...... and I am sure that our baby boy will be right there with him, at least if Dan has anything to say about it. Haha.
I also started feeling some kicks about two weeks ago. They bring a smile to my face every time! Although they are somewhat infrequent at this point, I still usually feel at least a few each day....especially after I eat or at night when I am relaxing!! I look forward to feeling more movement and to be able to share this feeling with Dan once the kicks get a little stronger.
Ps- I am still working on my technical skills. One of these days I will learn how to hook my laptop up to the scanner. I also must thank my wonderful husband for the custom blog background. I definitely can't take credit for that one!
Pss - A 20 week baby bump photo will be coming soon....
